Welcome To

Erie

This former coal town, resting on the Boulder-Weld county line about 12 miles south of Longmont, was first settled by a Methodist minister from Erie, Pennsylvania. In the last ten years, Erie has seen a surge in new families, homes, and businesses. With its proximity to both Denver and Boulder, the town provides an affordable option for people working in either city. Erie has repeatedly been named one of the best places to live and raise a family with a town motto of “Your Future Is Here”.
