Longmont, Colorado is a beautiful and growing city nestled against the northern Front Range, with a population just over 97,000, ranking as the 14th largest city in Colorado. The city was founded in 1871 by a group of men from Chicago. At the time, they called it the "Chicago-Colorado Colony" and sold memberships so they could purchase 60,000 acres of land for a town site and nearby farms. The name "Longmont" comes from "Longs Peak," the gorgeous mountain formation that is prominently seen all across town.

It serves as a hub to nearby cities like Boulder, Denver, and Ft. Collins and is conveniently located to get to ski resorts and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Just recently, livability.com included Longmont in their “Top 100 Best Place To Live in America” saying, “With a historic, walkable downtown full of restaurants, distilleries, breweries, coffee shops and arts hubs, Longmont has so much to offer you won’t want to leave.”
