The co-owners of the brand-new Luminous Tea are in Longmont to illuminate the tea world and shine a light on teas that people tend to overlook. Don’t love tea? They brew coffee, matcha and offer tasty baked treats to enjoy!
Swap and Alan opened the doors of Luminous Tea at 624 Main Street Longmont only months ago, in November 2024, but they have been building toward this big moment since they began the company in 2018. Founded in Longmont as an ecommerce business to sell unique blends of teas, they craft their own blends of teas with over 125 different blends of tea. Starting in 2022 they've been doing local markets, farmers markets, and other Longmont events. With the support of the people they just opened the doors to their brick and mortar location. Here you can choose from 120+ tea options, coffee, matcha, and also a full afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones, and desserts. They also sell loose leaf tea and sampler boxes.
HOT TIP: Their lovely and delicious afternoon tea service comes with scrumptious cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, samosas, deviled eggs, scones with clotted cream and fruit preserves, mini croissants, panna cotta made with their coconut earl grey tea and blueberries, some macarons and other pastries they keep experimenting with including gluten-free scones. And of course it includes a pot of tea of your choice. All for $30 per person. Reservations made 48 hours in advance for groups of four or more people attending afternoon tea service are appreciated.
